Jamestown Hands GU First Loss Of Season

Blaine, MN - The Graceland men's soccer team and Jamestown College clashed today at a neutral pitch in Blaine, Minnesota.

The Jackets dominated possession but were unable to find the back of the net and fell 2-1 against the Jimmies.

Midfielder Brandon Beresford scored Graceland's only goal of the afternoon off of a nice corner kick from midfielder Milan Bogic.

"The guys had an alright game, but at this level that's not good enough," said head coach Guillermo Sanchez. "We move on now and focus our attention on Grand View this coming Tuesday. They will be hungry for a win just as much as we are."

GU will head to Des Moines, IA on Tuesday, September 4th to play Grand View University at 7pm.
