Graceland University Hires Jayden Miller as Head Women’s Wrestling Coach
LAMONI, Iowa —Graceland University Athletics has announced the hiring of Jayden Miller as the next Head Women's Wrestling Coach, bringing a proven coach, recruiter, and mentor to lead the Yellowjackets program into its next chapter.
Miller joins Graceland after serving as the Head Women's Wrestling Coach and Assistant Men's Wrestling Coach at Northern Oklahoma College. Prior to his time at NOC, he spent more than two years as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's wrestling programs at Southwestern Oregon Community College, where he helped develop student-athletes both on and off the mat.
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Miller has earned recognition on the national stage through his work with USA Wrestling, serving as a personal coach for members of the USA Wrestling Beach Senior World Team and helping guide multiple athletes to international competition.
"Jayden is an outstanding addition to our athletic department and the Graceland community," said Director of Athletics Brady McKillip. "Throughout the search process, it became clear that he possesses the energy, vision, and leadership qualities necessary to build a championship-caliber program. His passion for developing student-athletes, commitment to accountability, and ability to connect with young people make him an exceptional fit for Graceland. We are excited to see the future of Yellowjacket Women's Wrestling under his leadership."
Miller expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to lead the program and continue the growth of women's wrestling at Graceland.
"I'm incredibly honored and grateful for the opportunity to lead the women's wrestling program at Graceland University," Miller said. "This program has a strong foundation, and I'm excited to build a culture centered on hard work and accountability. I can't wait to get to work with these student-athletes and help continue growing women's wrestling at Graceland."
A former wrestler at Hastings College, Miller served as a team captain and has remained deeply involved in the sport throughout his coaching career. His experience developing athletes, building relationships through recruiting, and fostering a positive team culture positions him well to lead Graceland Women's Wrestling as the program continues to grow and compete at a high level.
Miller will begin his duties immediately as he prepares for the upcoming season and works to build upon the foundation of Graceland Women's Wrestling.
