Graceland Women's Volleyball Earns AVCA Team Academic Award
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Graceland University women's volleyball program has been recognized for its work in the classroom, earning the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced.
The award recognizes collegiate and high school volleyball programs that maintained a year-long team grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.
Graceland was among 1,432 programs nationwide to receive the honor this year, continuing the Yellowjackets' commitment to academic achievement alongside their efforts on the court.
"It comes as no surprise to see our sport have more than 1,400 teams earn the AVCA Team Academic Award again this season," AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon said. "We are grateful for the dedication of the coaches and players who make both classroom and on-court success the lifeblood of their programs."
The AVCA Team Academic Award honors volleyball programs across the high school and collegiate levels for maintaining high academic standards throughout the academic year.
