Bio
Kaitlyn Wilder – Assistant Track & Field Coach (Throws)
Kaitlyn Wilder joins the Graceland University track and field staff as the assistant coach (throws), bringing a dynamic combination of elite collegiate experience, technical coaching expertise, and a passion for athlete development.
A former NCAA national champion and multiple-time All-American, Wilder competed at the University of Dubuque, where she became one of the most decorated throwers in program history. Over five seasons as a Spartan, she broke numerous school records and consistently ranked among the top NCAA Division III athletes in the shot put, hammer throw, weight throw, and discus.

Wilder began her coaching career with three years of experience in AAU track and field, specializing in youth development with a focus on technique and competitive preparation. Most recently, she served as an assistant coach at Clarke University, where she coached the throws group and contributed to the development of athletes across multiple event areas.
In addition to her success on the field, Wilder is equally committed to the academic and personal growth of her athletes. She holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Dubuque, reflecting a holistic coaching philosophy rooted in leadership, accountability, and growth.
