8 Jackets Named All Conference

Lamoni, IA-The 2010 HAAC women's all-conference team has been announced and the #6 conference champion Jackets have received 8 to the squad.

Senior Chelsea Phillips was named 1st team all conference, garnered offensive MVP honors and was also named HAAC MVP for the second consecutive year. Along with Phillips, Gisela Arrieta, Shay Eskridge, Ryanne Miller and Stefany Castano also received 1st team all-conference. Castano was named the HAAC defensive MVP for 2010. Graceland also got three others on the team as Kristen Johnson and Ana Linares were named 2nd team and Krishelle Ricketts was named 3rd team.

Fred Wagenaar also received his fifth consecutive nod as conference Coach of the Year..

The women's soccer team has had an amazing run during their 2010 campaign and they begin post season play this Wednesday in Lamoni, at 7pm against the winner of Monday's Baker/Lindenwood match.
