Jackets Down Baker 2-0 On Senior Night
The Jackets started off the first half by winning the defensive battle and holding off a strong Baker offense while also attacking and hitting two crossbars, one by sophomore midfielder Shannon Scarlett (Raytown , MO) and the other by senior forward Chelsea Phillips (Granada Hills, CA).
Coming out of the half, the Jackets took the field with intensity and shocked the Wildcats with two quick goals in the 48th and 50th minute by Chelsea Phillips. The Jackets then solidified the lead by shutting down the Baker forwards and ultimately won, 2-0.
This game marked the final regular season home game for the class of 2010 and tonight the following seniors were honored for their contributions to the Yellowjacket program:

"Tonight capped the end of a great regular season," stated Coach Wagenaar after the home victory. "We played a great defensive game and that really catapulted us to the win. The ladies finished another undefeated regular season in the HAAC and we are looking ahead with great anticipation to the playoff rounds," finished Wagenaar.
This victory places the Jackets at the top of the HAAC with a record of 8-0-1 and 15-1-1 overall. The Jackets will now head into the post-season with a first round bye and will face their next conference tournament team at home on Wednesday November 10th.
