LAMONI, IA – Jenna Cole of the Graceland University women's soccer program will be our next student-athlete to be highlighted as the Yellowjacket Spotlight Athlete, powered by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Why did you choose Graceland?
I chose Graceland because of the community. I loved that I was going to be able to play golf and be involved with so many different things.
What is your favorite pre-game/event ritual?
Team breakfast
What has been your most memorable moment as a student-athlete so far in your GU college career?
Chipping in during a tournament
What is your favorite Graceland memory?
WINNING airband 2 years in a row!!
Are you involved in any other clubs/organizations on campus other than athletics? If so, what is your role with them?
Yes, I am going to serve as the House President of Solah this coming year, I am in science club, and represent golf on SAAC.
Are you involved in any community service projects/organizations? Please explain.
SAAC does lots of community service projects including walking students to school and playing bingo at the nursing home.
What is the key to your success?
Organization and time management.
What are you hoping to do with your degree post-graduation?
I am hoping to get into Physicians Assistants school and eventually work in a women's health clinic.
What's your favorite class you've taken so far?
One of my favorite classes was Cell Biology.
What is at the top of your bucket list?
To finish the entire bible in 365 days.
What is your dream job? Why?
My dream job is to go overseas and serve those women who are less fortunate.
When I have a weekend off of sports you can usually find me…
Hanging out with my friends or cheering on another GU team!
A non-athletic talent I have is…
I can name all 50 states and their capitals.
What person outside of your family has done the most for you?
There are so many people that have done so much for me, I am thankful for everyone who has encouraged and had faith in me thus far.
What are some of your hobbies outside of your sport?
I enjoy reading, running, and spending time with friends.
One word that describes you?
Optimistic and friendly.
