Across the doubleheader, Graceland totaled six hits, while William Penn combined for 18 hits, including multiple extra-base hits and a home run.

Head coach Todd Verwers emphasized execution.

"We need to generate more production at the plate and limit opportunities defensively. The focus is on situational hitting and minimizing mistakes in conference play," Verwers said.

Graceland continues conference play later this week.

Graceland returns to action Friday, April 3, hosting William Woods (Mo.) in a doubleheader beginning at 2:00 p.m. CDT, with game two scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at North Park in Lamoni, Iowa.
