Kyle Homet enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Graceland University men's wrestling program in 2026-27.

Homet joined the Yellowjackets after serving as an assistant coach at Georgetown College, where he helped launch the program during its inaugural season. During his time with the Tigers, Georgetown earned a 13th-place finish at the NAIA National Championships while producing five national qualifiers, a national champion, and the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler. For his contributions to the program's success, Homet was recognized as the Mid-South Assistant Coach of the Year.

A highly accomplished competitor, Homet brings extensive collegiate wrestling experience to the Graceland coaching staff. He earned NCAA Division II All-American honors before concluding his collegiate career at Life University, where he finished as the 2024 NAIA National Runner-Up at 184 pounds. Homet was also recognized as a four-time Academic All-American, demonstrating excellence both on the mat and in the classroom.

At Graceland, Homet assists with athlete development, recruiting, practice planning, and match preparation while helping support the continued growth of the Yellowjacket wrestling program. His coaching philosophy emphasizes mentorship, accountability, discipline, and developing champions both on and off the mat.

Homet and his wife, Sidney, have one son, Sean.
