Four Named Men’s Volleyball All-Conference Honorable Mention

Overland Park, Kan – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2023 Heart Men's Volleyball All-Conference teams and major award winners.

The award winners feature players from across one of the premier men's volleyball conferences in the NAIA and are listed as First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention All-Conference.

The Yellowjackets had four named to the list;

Heart Men's Volleyball All-Conference Honorable Mention
Logan Book | Jr. | Libero | Clovis, Calif.
Book finished the 2023 season with 266 digs and 3.29 overall digs per set on 81 sets. He had 626 receptions and is ranked second overall in the NAIA.

Heart Men's Volleyball All-Conference Honorable Mention
Jeremiah Ta'amu | Sr. | Opposite | Pearl City, Hawaii
Ta'amu, in his senior season, led the Yellowjackets with 200 kills. He had 2.56 kills overall kills per set, with 188 assists, 55 total blocks and 20 service aces.

Heart Men's Volleyball All-Conference Honorable Mention
Will Simmers | Middle Blocker | Sr. | Chambersburg, Pa.
The senior Simmers concluded his season racking 60 total blocks with 16 solo blocks. He had 60 kills with 1.22 kills per set.

Heart Men's Volleyball All-Conference Honorable Mention
Rylon Raczka | Fr. | Outside Hitter | Wellington, Colo.
Raczka, in his first year with the Yellowjackets as a freshman, averaged 2.37 kills per set with an overall of 142 kills and had 20 blocks.
