Three Named to the 2023 Heart Men's Basketball All-Conference List

Overland Park, Kan – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2023 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Basketball All-Conference teams and individual award winners on Thursday, prior to the Heart Conference Tournament.

The list features players from across the conference that were awarded to the First Team, Second Team and Honorable Mention All-Conference teams, as well as the All-Defensive Team.

The Yellowjackets had three named to the list;

Heart Men's Basketball All-Conference First Team
Seth Compas | Sr. | Guard | Blue Bell, Pa.
Compas ended the regular season averaging 15.7 points per game. The Senior guard was named heart player of the week twice this season and shot 64.0 percent from the floor and 48.8 from the three-point range, with 4.6 rebounds a game. He has scored in double figures in 24 games and his season-high 28 points against Park on February 4.

Heart Men's Basketball All-Conference Honorable Mention
Sam'i Roe | Sr. | Guard | Atlantic City, N.J
The Senior guard shot 50.0 percent from the field, 32.7 from the three-point line and 70.5 from the free-throw line. Roe averaged 13.5 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, and 3.2 assists per game.

Heart Men's Basketball All-Conference Honorable Mention
C.J. Wilson | Sr. | Guard | Pontiac, Mich.
Wilson averaged 13.8 points per game, with 64 assists and 39 steals. The Senior guard shot 36.9 percent from the floor and 32.4 percent from the three-pointer line, and 88.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The awards and All-Conference teams were selected by the Heart head coaches.
