Men's Basketball Victorious Over No.18 Valor
Lamoni, Iowa – The Graceland University Men's Basketball team took on the No. 18 Evangel University Valor. The Yellowjackets defeated the Valor 75-67 and move to 13-8 on the season and are 8-7 in the Heart.

Half 1: Graceland 41 | Evangel 26
The Yellowjackets started with an aggressive offence, from Aleksa Markovic sinking a three-pointer to start the game's scoring. A tip-in from Markovic (15-minute mark) would start the first Yellowjackets point run, along with back-to-back threes from Seth Compas and JT Washington. Trenton Daughtry would close the run with a layup for a 10-point jump (18-6; 12:08 minute). The Valor would sink back-to-back baskets to close their deficit to five points (20-25). Mario Johnson (layup) and C.J. Wilson (three-pointer) would pull the Yellowjacket's lead to 12 with under five minutes remaining (33-21). The first-half scoring would end with Sam'i Roe's layup and a Markovic three, increasing their advantage to 15 points (41-26).

Both teams came out into the second half on fire, going point for point. Trenton Daughtry would sink a bucket from the deep, Seth Compas would follow with his own, and the Yellowjackets would collect nine points (55-37). A made Sam'i Roe layup and a made charity stripe from the Valor foul to follow would put the Yellowjackets at a 20-point lead. Graceland would hold their largest advantage at the 10:36 minute mark from the made Daughtry free throw (61-40). Evangel would find their way to a 14-3 scoring run to close their deficit to 10 points (64-54). Graceland would keep Evangel at a disadvantage and take the victory 75-67.
