Men's Basketball Conquered the Vikings

Lamoni, Iowa – The Graceland University Men's Basketball team competed against the Missouri Valley College Vikings, and took them down 79-66. They move to 8-7 on the season and are 3-6 in the Heart.

Both teams came out on fire and went point for point. The Yellowjackets created the first lead of the game, collecting an eight-point jump (17-10) started from the layup by Trenton Daughtry. The Vikings would retaliate with an 11-2 scoring run to tie the game 27-27. The Yellowjacket's Winslow Martin would retake the lead with a made layup. The Viking would sink a last-minute layup to lead heading into the half (29-30).
Half 2: Graceland 50 | Missouri Valley 36
The Yellowjackets would create space and push their advantage over the Vikings (43-36). The Vikings fought to close their deficit to three points. The Yellowjacket's Seth Compas would sink a shot from beyond the arch to start a collection and increase their lead to 12 points. Both teams would go point for point. The Yellowjackets would contain the Vikings to take home the victory.
