Men's Basketball Stopped by Peru State
Lamoni, Iowa – The Graceland University Men's Basketball team competed against the Peru State College Bobcats, and fell 80-81. They move to 7-7 on the season and are 2-6 in the Heart.

The Bobcats hopped to the early lead (8-15). A layup made by Mario Johnson would push the Yellowjackets to collect a 9-2 scoring run, and Sam'i Roe's layup would tie the score (17-17). The Bobcats would retaliate to pull back their lead and increase it to six heading into the half (34-40). Both teams would shoot above 60 percent in three-pointers (GU – 60.0 and PSC – 63.3).
Half 2: Graceland 46| Peru State 41
Both teams came out competitive, going point for point. The Bobcats were able to hold onto their lead over the Yellowjackets, with their largest lead of 14 points (5:38 minute mark). Seth Compas would sink a layup and give the Yellowjackets the push needed for a 10-point run to close the gap to three points. With under 10 seconds remaining on the clock, a C.J. Wilson layup would bring the Bobcat's advantage to one point (78-79). Peru State would be able to hold onto the one-point lead for the win (80-81).
