Yellowjackets Announce Team Captains for 2026 Season

LAMONI, Iowa — The Yellowjackets have announced their team captains for the 2026 season, head coach Aaron Richardson said.

Selected to serve as captains this season (picutred from left to right) are Sydney Gann, Grace Jensen, Delaney Mondino and Ahmari Byrd. The quartet will help lead the Yellowjackets both on and off the field throughout the year.

"We have great leadership with this group," said head coach Aaron Richardson. "They represent our program well and set the tone every day with their work ethic and commitment to the team."

The Yellowjackets currently sit at 2-2 on the season and will open at home Saturday against Ottawa at 1 p.m.
