Jake Koppelmann enters his third season with Graceland University Football, continuing in his role as Offensive Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator. Since joining the Yellowjackets in 2023, Koppelmann has played a critical role in the program’s offensive resurgence.

In his first season, Graceland’s offense averaged 35 points and 413 yards per game, a dramatic improvement that helped propel the team to its first winning season since 2007. His offensive line unit was instrumental in that success, producing two All-Conference selections in Zay Atkins (First Team) and Davontae Bryant (Second Team).

With a focus on physicality, discipline, and scheme execution, Koppelmann has helped anchor an offensive staff that led the NAIA in passing production and ranked among the nation’s top ten in total offense.

Prior to arriving at Graceland, Koppelmann spent four seasons at Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NCAA Division II), where he served in multiple offensive coaching roles, including Offensive Line Coach. His time at Northwestern Oklahoma helped shape his strategic approach to run game coordination and player development.

A former collegiate player himself, Koppelmann played at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, where his passion for coaching was ignited. He earned a Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from Northwestern Oklahoma State in 2021, further preparing him for leadership in collegiate athletics.

Koppelmann continues to be a vital piece of Graceland’s offensive identity as the Yellowjackets build on recent momentum heading into the 2025 season.
