Two Thursday Night Games Highlight 2026 Graceland Football Schedule

LAMONI, Iowa — Graceland University has announced its 2026 football schedule, an 11-game slate featuring two Thursday night contests, six home games at Huntsman Field, and seven Heart North Conference matchups.

The Yellowjackets open the season on Thursday, Aug. 27, traveling to William Penn before returning home for their home opener against MidAmerica Nazarene on Sept. 5. The home opener will also serve as Ring of Honor Day, recognizing and celebrating the 2026 class of Graceland Football Ring of Honor inductees.

Graceland heads to Central Methodist on Sept. 12 before returning to Huntsman Field to host Missouri Valley on Sept. 19. The Yellowjackets then wrap up non-conference play with a road contest at William Woods on Sept. 26.

Heart of America North Conference play begins on Oct. 3 as Graceland welcomes Culver-Stockton to Huntsman Field for Homecoming. The Yellowjackets will then host Grand View on Thursday, Oct. 15, marking the program's second Thursday night game of the season.

The final stretch of the schedule features a road matchup at Peru State on Oct. 24, followed by a home contest against St. Ambrose on Halloween (Oct. 31). Graceland then travels to Mount Mercy on Nov. 7 before wrapping up the regular season at Huntsman Field against Clarke on Nov. 14 (Senior Day).

The 2026 schedule features six home games, highlighted by Ring of Honor Day, Homecoming, and two Thursday night contests. Following four non-conference games to open the year, the Yellowjackets will navigate a seven-game Heart of America North Conference schedule as they look to contend in one of the NAIA's most competitive football leagues.
