Cade Ross Named Musco Lighting Heart Offensive Player of the Week After Stellar Performance
LAMONI, Iowa – Graceland University junior quarterback Cade Ross has been named the Musco Lighting Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Offensive Player of the Week for Week 6, following his outstanding play in the Yellowjackets' 43-35 homecoming victory over Peru State.
Ross led Graceland's offense with a commanding performance, completing 28 of 41 passes for 379 yards and six touchdowns. Three of those touchdown passes came in the fourth quarter, allowing the Yellowjackets to overcome a double-digit deficit and secure the win. His leadership helped Graceland improve to 2-0 in the HAAC North Division, remaining undefeated in conference play and raising the Yellowjackets' overall record to 4-2.
Ross continues to be a pivotal player for the Yellowjackets this season, leading the team in several offensive categories. His Week 6 performance was capped by three touchdowns in the fourth quarter including the games final TD, a 24-yard strike to receiver Dae Dae McDougal that ended up being the game winner.
