Football Conquered the Pride.
Dubuque, Iowa – The Graceland University football team travel to Dalzell Field in Dubuque, Iowa, to compete against the Clarke (Iowa) Pride. The Yellowjackets took down the Pride, 30-7, and moved to 3-6 and 1-0 in the conference.

Both teams worked to find the other endzone but remained scoreless in the first quarter. Two forced fumbles from CJ Welch and Sabron Woods gave the Yellowjackets the upper hand.
Quarter 2: Graceland 16| Clarke 0
Graceland got on the board first with a 12-play 80-yard drive, ending in a Judd Roberts pass to Gerald Monroe for a 6-yard touchdown; the extra point by Joseph Sanchez was good. Late in the second quarter, Emariye Louden sacked the Pride to produce a team safety (9-0).
With 0.19 seconds on the clock, Judd Roberts would locate Felix Wade for 47 yards touch down, adding the extra point by Joseph Sanchez.
Quarter 3: Graceland 14 | Clarke 7
The Yellowjackets would capitalize on their first drive of the third quarter from the rush by Adarius Thomas, and Sanchez added the extra point. The Pride was able to find their way to the end zone (06:37 – minute mark) with a 12-yard pass.
Adarius Thomas would add the last touchdown with a 20-yard rush, crossing the line with two seconds left on the board (30-7).
Quarter 4: Graceland 0| Clarke 0
Both teams came out on fire in the fourth quarter, and the defense held strong. The Yellowjackets' longest drive was 11 plays and 39 yards.
