Graceland Baseball Earns ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Graceland University baseball program has been named a recipient of the 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, the American Baseball Coaches Association announced.

The national honor recognizes ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.

Graceland was among more than 800 high school and collegiate baseball programs nationwide to earn the distinction, including more than 500 college programs.

To qualify for the award, programs were required to have a head coach who is a current ABCA member and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative team GPA for the academic year.

The recognition adds another academic achievement for the Yellowjackets and highlights the program's commitment to success both on the field and in the classroom.

The American Baseball Coaches Association, founded in 1945, annually recognizes the accomplishments of baseball coaches, programs and student-athletes at the high school and collegiate levels.
