Graceland Baseball Signs Jacob Abernathey

LAMONI - Head baseball coach Brady McKillip has recently announced the signing of Jacob Abernathey. Jacob hails from Lee's Summit, Mo. and is currently a senior at Lee's Summit North High School.

Abernathey has competed in both football and baseball during his high school career. Outside of high school season, he also has played on a club team as a pitcher.

While attending Graceland, Jacob intends to major in Sports Management or Business Administration. He is the son of Steve and Jen Abernathey.

The Graceland University Athletic Department and the baseball program are excited to have Jacob join the Yellowjackets for next year and are looking forward to watching him rise through the ranks in his collegiate career.
