In 2018 Graceland University men's basketball made their first-ever NAIA DI Men's Basketball National Championship appearance after winning their first-ever Heart of America Athletic Conference Tournament Title. During that appearance, Graceland won their first-ever men's basketball national championship title. The Yellowjackets finished the historic season at 29-10 overall.
