Women's Golf - Thu, Apr. 26, 2012
Lawrence, KS - The Graceland University Women's golf team is finishing their season on a positive note.

"Today we played like I thought we could all along. Everything came together and everyone is playing well which is exactly what you want at the end of the season in preparation for the conference tournament," said Coach Brunner.

"I am proud of all their efforts today as this marks the best score for our team since I have been coaching. I am especially proud of Keeley for playing like she did. I always knew she could play that good." Graceland finished 3rd in the three team tournament but their score was only strokes away from a top finish.

Freshmen Keeley Brunner led the way with a 90-90 180 score. Sophomore Lina Marcela Barrigo Barrera played good and shot 98-89 187. Senior Carolina Fonseca played steady and shot 94-97 191. Freshmen Emily Martz found her groove again and shot 107-91 198.

Next up is the conference tournament hosted by Central Methodist.
