Fort Worth, TX - The Jackets fell to 0-3 on the young season, looking handily to two unranked teams but taking #7 LCU to extra innings in a loosing effort.

Game 1 - Texas Wesleyan University

The Jackets came out swinging, posting an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. However, after the first inning, GU was only able to post three more hits during the matinee contest.

Brittany Petersen and Megan Nelsen had consecutive hits to put Petersen into scoring position. Staci Ritchey recorded her first RBI of the season with another single, the Jackets' third in a row.

Graceland fell down 4-1 after giving up one run in the third and three in the fourth innings. It was the TWU show in the final inning as the host Rams posted 7 runs. The Jackets responded with 2 runs of their own, eventually falling by a final of 11-3.


Game 2 - Lubbock Christian University

The Jackets gave the No. 7 squad in the nation all it could handle until falling in extra innings, 9-8. More information coming soon.


Game 3 - Oklahoma Baptist University

GU fell in its final game of the day, 7-2 to OBU. More information coming soon.
