GULF SHORES, AL - On the second day of competition at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Nationals, Graceland University was represented by three athletes.
Two athletes competed in the 100 meter dash, while the other in the long jump.
A total of 41 athletes competed in the 100 with Montae Spiller and Tyrell Hemingway representing the way for the Jackets. Spiller clocked a time of 10.67 seconds, while Hemingway posted an 11.02 seconds.
The final competitor for Graceland was sophomore William Snorgrass. He was one of 26 to compete in the long jump, finishing three places out from All-American status (11th). He lept 7.06 meters.
Graceland was unable to place an athlete in the finals and will not be competing on the final day of competition.
