William Penn's offense was sparked by NCAA DI transfer, Torren Jones with 34 points and 18 boards. Complimenting him was Jarvis Haywood with 21 points. Lionell Ellison totaled five steals.
Following the contest, Head Coach Craig Doty said, "Torren Jones went for 32 points and 17 rebounds last time we played William Penn. He went for 34 points and 18 rebounds tonight. We simply haven't had an answer for this NCAA DI transfer. Torren will be a pro after this year and I hoped our guys would be motivated to shut him down. Unfortunately, that didn't take place. We need to figure out a better game plan to stop him. Penn is loaded with talent from their best player to the end of their bench. We need to make someone else hurt us though."
