Head Coach Kevin Brunner stated:
"I thought if we could shoot under 300 for the tournament that would be a good score for our team, so I am happy with the results of our effort today. However, like all golf there were a few strokes that we lost out there on the course. We started strong, but lost some strokes on the back nine. I am proud of the effort and progress of the team. If we can continue to play at a high level it will only help us prepare for future moments like these and make us better."
The men's golf team will hit the links again Sept. 26-27 in Springfield, MO at the Evangel Invitational.
